PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about expanding your diving skills (Advanced Diver). To this end, you will practise navigation, buoyancy control, deep diving and three other special dives of your choice*.
Procedure:
The course lasts 2 days and consists of 5 dives. Underwater navigation and deep diving are an integral part of the course. In underwater navigation, you will learn how to orient yourself and read the underwater world. A compass is also used. Deep diving shows you how depth affects your body and what challenges it brings with it.
The remaining dives are freely selectable. Wreck diving, drift diving and perfect buoyancy control are popular, for example. Other specialties are possible, your instructor will be happy to help you.
Prerequisite:
- good physical condition
- PADI OWD certification
- Minimum age 12 years
- sufficient swimming skills
