PADI Open Water Diver
The PADI Open Water Diver is PADI’s first diver level, which leads to an unrestricted certification. A well-trained PADI instructor teaches budding divers to dive in an environment that promotes learning and relaxation. At the end of the course you will have the knowledge and skills to dive in the local area or abroad and to promote the interests of the underwater world.
Procedure:
The course lasts 4 days and consists of 8 dives.
- Day 1: Theoretical introduction to the basics, 2 dives to a depth of 5m in a lagoon with practical exercises
- Day 2: Diving to 5m with further practical exercises, preparation for the theoretical exam
- Day 3: Diving to 12m and deepening the knowledge already acquired
- Day 4: Diving to 18m, theoretical exam
Prerequisites:
- good physical condition
- Minimum age 10 years
- sufficient swimming skills
